Why Inquiry?

There are many reasons why I advocate for an inquiry-based approach to learning but the top ones would be the way it engages and empowers learners and leads to deeper understanding of concepts. I have also found it to foster key competencies, problem-solving and higher-order thinking skills. Other reasons to use this approach are illustrated in the following Sylvia Duckworth sketchnote (based on the work of Trevor McKenzie).
